The individual conscience is true freedom, the collective conscience is the limitation, whoever wants to confuse will say that moving away from the group would be a lack of solidarity, but it is not, the individual human being is a person of good faith, he is better prepared to help to others than one who always likes to live in a group and conditioned by the impressionability and susceptibility of the social environment.


The individual human being, being this way, is more invulnerable, therefore he is less exposed due to his tolerance to harmful feelings typical of collective minds such as vanity, selfishness and hypocrisy.


Not to confuse a guy who knows he's individual with one of those egotistical, vain, segregationist guys who feel different, who call themselves individual because they feel they're a different class in society, but not to indulge in a process of self-improvement, but for vain reasons, who do not know more than to live their today, nor do they make plans to contribute ideas in society; those only live for themselves; It is really a mistake to call these poor beings individual, even more so it is a blunder to say that they are free; egotistical people who do not know what help and solidarity to others is, who are simply not interested in more than living for their benefit, those only lack the tail to be donkeys.


It must be repeated over and over again, true freedom cannot begin if there is no individuality, the individual human being has ideals and based on them, which may even seem like chimeras, he builds forms of expression that escape mediocracy.


The individual conscience breaks schemes, stereotypes, because it is bold, it contributes new and fresh ideas, it conceives in its mind objectives that to the common society may seem impossible dreams. A man or a woman with a healthy individual conscience is a truly free being.

The importance of emotional intelligence has to do with knowing how to control emotions for our own well-being. That is why said Emotional Intelligence is the plus that will really allow us to live a life with greater confidence and security.

Many people are deluded into thinking that high intelligence quotients, those determined by tests, or success in business give us the label of "self-confident", and with that fact they already believe that it is enough to feel fulfilled. That is a false perception of things.

You can be the most efficient surgeon, the best architect, the most honest lawyer, the most outstanding soccer player, the most enterprising merchant; but if you do not have emotional intelligence in your life there will always be instability. The reason is very simple to explain but not easy to understand, especially for those who have a selfish and linear thought focused in only one direction according to which they are always the right ones and the others are the wrong ones.

Many people who are successful in their careers and have problems in other aspects of their lives are not able to handle them properly because their emotions run rampant. Many examples could be given of people who are brilliant in business and their careers, and yet at the family or couple level they are totally unstable because they cannot control their impulsiveness, this is because said person lacks the concept of Emotional Intelligence.

Many of the people who are successful in certain aspects of their lives are arrogant, and this arrogance makes them forget that in other facets they could also be the best.

The instability of these people occurs because to achieve such emotional intelligence, the first thing to do is to recognize your own weaknesses and defects in yourself, and to be tougher, perhaps we could talk about having to defeat that "gross" side. and "stupid" in us.

From there, from the analysis of those weaknesses, from recognizing them, something very valuable is achieved: acquiring empathy. That is understanding what others feel, the ego begins to deflate, and one is more careful about the things that are said and the reactions that one has; It is like a whole mental prophylaxis that frees you from egomania, arrogance, pettiness and other mental conflicts that do not leave a part of our being alone.

It's like a mental revolution, since you get used to watching each of your thoughts to do the right thing, not only for the benefit of one but for the good of others. That is something very important, because that way our conscience is clear. But of course, learning or acquiring Emotional Intelligence is a process that takes time, it is a winding path, with ups and downs, and yet it is worth going through because controlling our emotions is the key to our happiness. And do not forget that said control implies perseverance in decreeing positive thoughts in the mind.

Finally, it must be said that acquiring empathy is the first step to firmly develop said Emotional Intelligence, which is much more important in life than achieving titles or achieving success at work, because controlling emotions gives you true stability.

Having emotional intelligence is having the correct balance to adequately weigh successes and failures and be able to locate yourself at the point of balance, the right point where a serene, sensible and happy person should always be.

I would like to share this poem with the people that at some point have sense a spiritual void in his life. Sometimes clinging too to the physical world can provoke distress or suffering.
That is the moment when we must resort to that inner voice that asks us to be heard: it is our soul.


AWAKENING OF THE SOUL


False awakening from the dream
 is to liberate the soul.
Soul that was asleep.
Soul which cries out.


Asked my soul
the encounter with God,
see the paradise claims
wrapped with love sublime.


Awakening is to find oneself. 
Harmony and beauty everywhere. 
It is word excelsa. 
Presence is lucid. 

Awakening refuse the unreal, 
dodging the cheat

 Awakening is opening the eyes.

Unreal World of follies disguised 
as when we are asleep,

from the bandage that cover the eyes. 

Awakening is to fully remove

A thought is an energy. Energy always wants to manifest itself.


Energy can not be stocked or blocked. It will get out anyway. If you do something to prevent your energy from flowing, it will find another way to express itself. If you do not follow your own energy, your intuition, if you swim against the stream of your own flow, energy will express itself in sickness, tiredness, depression, skin diseases, temper tantrums, agressiveness and other not so pleasant things.

So why not follow the road where your energy takes you? This is your road, your way!


Do you know the song “I did it my way”? Well, if you do things your way, if you dare being yourself, you will feel the energy.


As long as you try to be somebody else to please your parents, peers, husband, wife, boss, children, neighbours or whatever, your energy will be stuck.

Ok, you say, but won’t I become selfish, an outlaw, a social disaster by following my own road? No! You will become yourself. That is freedom : to be yourself. 


See the world like a big wardrobe. Everybody has his own costume. There is only one that fits you perfectly. As long as you try to be someone else, you are walking around with a costume that is either too small or too big for you. You don’t feel comfortable in it. And what else is, you “stole” a costume that belongs to someone else! That means you are not at the right place doing the right thing with the right people! You took someone else’s place, someone else’s costume!


How can you know if you are at the right place, doing the right thing with the right people? There is a very simple criterion to find out : the questions stop in your mind! This spinning machine in your head that was torturing you for years has just stopped by itself! You can feel it : you feel good, everything is “right”, your talents are asked for and you have the greatest pleasure to offer them to the those around you. Everything falls at his place. Questions vanish and make place for peace.


As long as you torture yourself with all these questions, it means you still didn’t find your right spot on earth. You are doing an activity that somebody else should be doing. And your “job” is getting done by someone else who is not at his right place either! You see? It’s like a puzzle : if everyone is at his right place doing the thing he knows the best, everyone would be at peace, filled with energy and health, and everyone would live in wealth.


Go searching for your right place. The moment you stop being harassed by so many questions and you feel your energy flowing in your veins, you know this is it! You are on your road, your road to freedom. This IS freedom!

I was always somebody who felt quite sorry for myself, what I had not got compared to my friends, how much of a struggle my life seemed to be compared to others. I was caught up in a web of negativity and needed someone or something to help me to escape.

During an afternoon at work one day, aged around twenty one, a colleague I was working with started to talk to me. What he said was quite upsetting and disturbing, however would have a profound effect on my future. He said to me:

"Your quite a depressive person, aren't you?"

"Am I?"

I said in a shocked voice as I believed I was no different to anybody else. He continued:

"Yes you are. You very rarely smile, you are negative about most issues and you always seem to be carrying the world on your shoulders".

This man was aged around fifty three and continued:

"I used to be like you and then I was given some advice, of which I am now going to relay to you. When you feel down, depressed or sorry for yourself, read the newspapers or watch the news on the television. You may then realise that you are in fact one of the lucky ones."

I listened and thought about what he had said. I had never been a big reader or watcher of the news, but decided to start. The advice was totally correct, the news from around the world and even my own country was quite shocking. I realised that the worries I had were actually quite trivial and that I needed to cherish everyday and start to look on the bright side of life.
